News of the visit of the documentary film production team of the Little Sisters of Teresa of Taiwan to Korea in preparation for the 100th anniversary commemoration.

As the missionary societies SAM (founded in 1926, Socitété Auxilliaires Missionaires), the Congregation of St. John the Baptist (CSJB, established in 1928), and the Little Sisters of Thérèse (founded in 1929, CST), founded by Father Vincent Lebbe, will  celebrate their 100th anniversary, documentary films will be shot. While producing, the activities of the AFI -ICA will be included.

Four groups trying to embody the values and spirit of the Gospel, which can be summarized as “Total Renunciation, True Charity, Constant Joy,” created by Father Vincent Lebbe, will be recorded in a film titled “Our Songs of Life.”

Visit the AFI-ICA  in Korea to produce the film are planned  to shot the history of Korean AFI-ICA and current activities in Korea through interviews with members and visits to apostolate sites.

Sister Catarina will be the team leader, accompanied by a photographer and a interviewer, and the visit period will be from November 6 to 12, 2023. They will stay at the Jeon Jin-sang AFI-ICA Center in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. They will visit Jeon Jin-sang’s medical center in Siheung, the Jeon Jin-sang Spiritual Center in Myeong-dong, and Jeon Jin-sang’s nursery home in Dongducheon, which takes care of refugee children.
